Whitepaper overview

A high-level summary of how MGX infrastructure works. The full technical paper is available on request.

Version 2.1 · Summary

1. Overview

MGX Foundation maintains a stack of non-custodial protocols designed to make decentralized finance verifiable, secure, and accessible. This summary outlines the core components.

2. Architecture

The settlement layer is built from audited smart contracts that never take custody of user assets. A message-passing bridge connects supported networks, validated by a decentralizing set of operators.

3. Security model

Security rests on three pillars: independent audits, an ongoing bug-bounty program, and conservative engineering practices including time-locked upgrades and on-chain monitoring.

4. Governance

Protocol parameters, treasury allocation, and grants are managed by an on-chain DAO. Proposals and votes are public and executed transparently.

5. Sustainability

The foundation funds development through protocol revenue and a transparent treasury, with all disbursements reportable on-chain.
